It was October 2015 when I came to Matsue, just after graduating from Harbin University of Science and Technology in July. I was charmed by the city for its nice weather, warm-hearted people and calm peaceful environment different from other big cities. During my stay here for 3 years, I gradually got to know the city, got used to the life here, then one day I found myself in love with the city. Soon, I felt settled down so that my life and study here started going well.

Recently population in Matsue is decreasing while aging is rapidly progressing. Because of these conditions, social problems, such as lack in labor force and human resources in all industries are emerged. In this situation, I got a chance to join in the internship program offered by Shimane University, following the advices from professors at International Exchange Division Shimane University.

I got awarded Matsue Higashi Rotary Club scholarship since April 2018. Many people supported me. As a scholarship student and one of Shimane University students, I would like to return the kindness and favour to those who have supported me by contributing to Matsue’s development. Thus, I have set up my mind to find an employment in Matsue and did job hunting activities. I successfully got an offer from Ichibata Electric Railway Co., Ltd., a company based in Matsue, and started working from April 2019. I have some worries if I will be fine in working in Japan, as I am from outside Japan, and just graduated from university. But I am determined to do my best!
