On June 27, we participated in an information session on studying in Japan, organized by the Embassy of Japan and held at the Japan Cultural Center of the Embassy of Japan in Beijing. At our booth, we conducted individual consultations and presented a university introduction using slides to provide information to Chinese students interested in studying in Japan and their parents.
A total of 24 educational institutions participated in this event, which was attended by approximately 270 people, including Chinese students and their families. Many students hoping to enroll in undergraduate or graduate programs in Japan visited our university’s booth and asked enthusiastic questions about available fields of study, student life, and career paths after graduation.
Although the event was held on a limited scale with limited publicity, the response exceeded our expectations, providing us with an opportunity to once again recognize the high level of interest and demand for studying in Japan.
Shimane University will continue to strive to promote international exchange and accept international students by actively disseminating information to students overseas.
