On June 4, we held a company information session for international students interested in pursuing job opportunities in Japan. The session was organized with the cooperation of Komeri Co., Ltd., and was attended by five international students.
The session began with opening remarks by Prof. Sakane, Director of the International Center, followed by a presentation by Mr. Murata from Komeri Co., Ltd. He provided an overview of the company and its business operations. Komeri is actively promoting the recruitment of international employees, and through concrete examples, he offered a detailed explanation of job responsibilities after joining the company as well as possible career paths.
During the Q&A session, participants raised a number of specific questions regarding the hiring track record and performance of international employees, as well as working conditions at store locations and the level of Japanese language proficiency required.
The International Center will continue to provide career support for international students in the future.
