Sekaijin Club 🌏 held its first event of the 2026 academic year on April 17th at Global Commons.
Participants included both Japanese students and international students. We started things off with a fun ice‑breaker game, the "Mini Bowling Challenge".
The student with the highest score in the bowling challenge received a certificate.
For many attendees, this was their very first Sekaijin event since they had just joined the university. To help everyone get familiar, we began with a short introduction to the Sekaijin Club, followed by free conversation time.
This time, the suggested topics were:
For new students: What surprised you after entering Shimadai?
For senior students: What club activities or food/restaurant recommendations would you share with newcomers?
Everyone enjoyed the relaxed communication time, connecting with new people and learning from one another.
