On July 2nd, we held a company visit for international students. This activity was conducted as part of the job-hunting support program for international students to deepen their understanding of companies in Shimane prefecture and to promote regional job hunting among international students. This time, with the cooperation of the San-in Godo Bank, Ltd. and Everyplan co., Ltd. in Matsue, we visited the two companies. 8 international students participated in the program.
At San-in Godo Bank, Ms. Watanabe of the Human Resources Department gave a briefing on the bank's operations, followed by a tour of the head office front-desk operations and the data management department. During the exchange of opinions, in addition to the Q&A session, the international students also had the opportunity to express their opinions on what they can do as foreigners, making it a very fulfilling time.
At Everyplan, after touring the company building, Ms. Takeshita of the Community Creation Department explained about the company's operations and gave us a chance to meet and talk with three employees who had graduated from Shimane university. Two of them are former international students from India, they shared their experiences of working in Shimane as foreigners, and the participating international students listened to their stories with great interest.
The International Center will continue to provide job-hunting support for international students in the future.
