On June 28th, we held a job-hunting guidance for international students who wish to find a job in Japan. This guidance was held jointly with the Higher Education Center to deepen international students' understanding of job hunting in Japan. A total of 7 international students participated in the guidance, both in person and online.

After an explanation of the purpose of the guidance, Ms. Okuda, Associate Professor at the Higher Education Center, gave an overview of job-hunting activities in Japan and explained the support provided by the Higher Education Center. Next, Prof. Sakane, Director of the International Center, gave a presentation on the International Center's support for each step of the job-hunting process. Currently, participation in internships is an important part of job-hunting activities in Japan, and it is important to understand the schedule and collect information for this purpose. The participants were encouraged to actively prepare and gather information through Moodle and other means.

On July 1st, a similar guidance session was held in English, with a total of 6 international students participating both in person and online. During the Q&A session, students asked a variety of questions on both days, such as how to combine job hunting with studies, and how to choose an internship.

The International Center will continue to provide various kinds of support to international students to help them find jobs smoothly.
