Hello Everyone!
The "Know India" event was successfully held on June 27th at the Global Commons, organized by the International Center.
The event brought together Japanese and international students, faculty, and staff for a vibrant cultural exchange.
The program began with a welcome address from Vice President for Promotion of Globalization, Kataoka Sensei, followed by an engaging introduction to India and a fun quiz conducted by Noothalapati Sensei, Deputy Director of the International Center.
Indian students currently studying at Shimane University actively participated, interacting with the participants and sharing insights into Indian culture. Participants enjoyed authentic Indian chai and traditional snacks such as murukku and mixture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The event fostered lively conversations in English and multiple languages, promoting intercultural understanding and connection.
