Hello Everyone!
Sekai-jin Club 🌏was held on Match 14th by the International Center at Global Commons.
The participants included Japanese students, international students, faculty and staff.
The event began with self-introductions, we then watched an engaging video that introduced the significance and traditions of Holi, the Indian festival of colors.
To add to the cultural experience, attendees enjoyed a selection of traditional Indian sweets. Some participants shared their experiences of how they celebrate Holi in their home countries.
A highlight of the event was a live performance by one of the students, who sang and played Indian songs on the guitar.
The celebration concluded with the joyous tradition of playing with colors, where everyone participated in applying colored powders, creating a lively and memorable experience for all.
