On November 30th, the International Center held an annual international party for the purpose of fostering international exchange and enhancing the mutual understanding among Shimane University international students, Japanese students, and faculty members. Totally more than 200 participants joined the party this year.
During the party, participants enjoyed the events over international cuisine and performances such as a song, a traditional dance by students. And also, Ms. Obata, a coordinator of the center for tourism education, performed "Dojou-sukui dance", giving the international students an opportunity to learn and feel the traditions of Shimane Prefecture.
It was a meaningful party that deepened exchanges for participants, including international students of Matsue Campus and Izumo Campus, who seldom have the opportunity to meet.
Thank you to all the participants. We hope you all had fun with your new friends!
