Courtesy Visit to President Hattori by the Consul General of India, Osaka-Kobe

  Mr. Nikhilesh Giri, the Consul General of India, Osaka-Kobe, traveled to Shimane University on December 7, 2021, and made a courtesy visit to President Hattori.
  During the meeting, President Hattori gave a welcome address and explained the current situation about academic and student interactions among institutions in India and Shimane University.
  Furthermore, there were discussions about the future academic collaborations and acceptance of undergraduate students from India. Mr. Nikhilesh Giri enumerated some obstacles concerning studying in Japan and suggested some solutions.
  Shimane University has been strategically promoting the academic collaboration with India. We hope that this visit to Shimane University will be an opportunity for further development of the relationship between India and Shimane University.
