International Students
The Global Commons, Room 180 on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Education Building, near the Office of International Division, is a learning and exchange space open to all students of Shimane University.
Please feel free to actively use it as a place to interact with other international students and Japanese students.
Available Hours: Weekdays, 9:00 – 17:00
※ The space may be unavailable during events.
※ In principle, eating and drinking are not allowed in the room, but drinks in containers with lids are permitted.
※ Please take your trash with you when you leave.
We’ve received a donation of English comic books from President Otani. As with the other books, they may not be taken out of the room and must be used in the Global Commons.
We’ve also set up some traditional toys and games. Feel free to use them as a way to connect with both international and Japanese students.
