Signing MOU with IITH -India Institute of Technology Hyderabad

Shimane University (SU) and the India Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (10 June 2019) that will facilitate and enhance joint research activities aimed at developing the capacity for research formulation at both universities.

 SU has accepted more than 30 students specialized in the IT over the last 3 years as short-term exchange students from Indian Universities in cooperation with municipal governments and local IT companies. Five out of 30 students have already obtained jobs at IT companies in this field. To further strengthen SU’s cooperation with Indian universities, we have signed an MOU with one of the leading universities in India.
