On September 11th, 2015, H. E. Mr. Masud Bin MOMEN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh, and Dr. Jiban Ranjan Majumder, Economic Minister of Embassy of Bangladesh, visited Shimane University.
During their stay in Shimane University, they had a meeting with international students and researchers from Bangladesh about their studies and daily life in Japan. In the meeting, His Excellency asked students and researchers to introduce the merit of study in Japan such as highly education, its safety and so on when they went back to Bangladesh, as a spokesperson.
Also, His Excellency had a courtesy call on President Yasunao Hattori, and exchanged their views and thoughts about important issues including the current study abroad situation in Bangladesh, our plan to increase the number of foreign students and so on.
Shimane University has 18 students and researchers at the moment. We expected that the attraction to study in Shimane University will be informed those who want to study abroad in Bangladesh through them, the numbers of International students will increase in the future.
