On 23th July, 2018, the executive vice president Prof. Qian Yonghua and other 5 members of Northwest A&F University (China), one of the partner universities of Shimane University, visited Shimane University and made a courtesy call on Vice-President Prof. Deguchi.
Northwest A&F University and Shimane University concluded the academic agreement in 2015 based on collaboration research in the field of Environmental Education and Livestock, which have been led by Prof. Ito, the Director of international Joint Research Institute of Shimane University and Ningxia University, and other members of the institute. Since then, in addition to the academic research exchange so far, we have actively conducted Student exchanges programs such as Exchange students and short-term studying programs.
At the courtesy call, Prof. Deguchi warmly welcomed guests and talked about his memory of the days that he visited to Northwest A&F University in 2015 in order to conclude the academic agreement between our two universities. On the other hand, Prof. Qian told that he hoped to deepen our understanding through the collaboration researches and student exchanges, and also he hoped that our friendship would be more developing in the future.
Also, Ms. Zhou Yang-yang and Mr.Jin Jiahua , the exchange students from Northwest A&F University joined the meeting and had a presentation about their school life and future plan.
